Denmark 10 Kroner Banknote - Not Current
The 10-krone banknote with a new format and colour was issued on 15 March 1954 and has been withdrawn since 8 April 1975.
The portrait on the face of the banknote is of Hans Christian Andersen, reproduced from a photograph taken by Budtz Müller & Co. in 1863. On the right-hand side of the banknote is a stork's nest in Asminderød, northern Zealand, drawn by the illustrator and architect Ib Andersen (1907-1969).
The motif on the reverse is Egeskov Windmill at Kværndrup, southern Funen, drawn by Ib Andersen.
